A series of letters shared between two cross-country trans youth. This week...they're...texting???
by Raine Grayson (playwright/actor)
ABEL: I know who this is, dummy. iPhones have caller ID and I already programmed you in.
SAM: Sure. I figured it'd be a nice step.
SAM: Is this weird?
ABEL: Not at all. I like this, actually.
Besides. I'm moving soon. I wouldn't want any letters to get lost in the mail and you think I had forgotten you again. I've sworn off old habits.
SAM: Still a sore spot?
ABEL: A little.
ABEL: Don't apologize for your bad sense of humor.
ABEL: Blame the joke, not me.
