In museums, there's always more to the story.
By Julien Lecanu
Hello everyone ! I am Julien, musicals addicted writer from just across the pond and singer (shower concerts only!). Here to share with you the French experience, hoping to receive some New-York wisdom. I am really excited to get on board with all the Crazytowners! And let me begin with a passionate article dedicated to my one true love : ancient history museums. I’m not even kidding.
To me, there’s nothing quite like those gigantic rooms with high ceilings and old-fashioned ornaments where you can almost smell old stories floating in the air. (Or maybe that’s just dust…). You're walking in this cold COLD room and try to get a sense of how it was like before. There, everything seems to be frozen, caged between lifelike sculptures, mysterious inscriptions… and a permanent crowd of Chinese tourists. Of course.
